BDS in China for Pakistani Students
China offers English-taught BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) programs at MOE-listed universities - fully in English from Day 1, PMDC approved, and WHO recognized. The BDS follows the same language policy as the English MBBS: no HSK is required during the program, with HSK-4 needed only if the Year 5 internship is completed in China.
BDS programs in China are 5 years (4 years dental study + 1 year clinical internship). The internship can be completed in China, Pakistan, or another country - subject to DMU's qualification evaluation. Annual tuition starts from 45,000 RMB/year at DMU, with hostel at 10,000 RMB/year.
Important: Left-handed students are NOT eligible for BDS programs in China. This is a standard restriction across all Chinese dental programs. Left-handed students are fully eligible for MBBS and Clinical Medicine.
