The LPDP (Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan) Regular Scholarship is a government-funded program managed by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. It aims to support Indonesian citizens in obtaining advanced degrees to contribute to the nation's development.
The scholarship is available for Master's and Doctoral programs. Master's degrees are funded for a maximum duration of 24 months, while Doctoral degrees are funded for a maximum duration of 48 months.
Applicants who already possess an unconditional Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from an LPDP-approved university must select one institution. Those without an LoA must select three universities from the approved list that offer the same or similar fields of study.
The program is strictly for regular classes. It does not support executive, special, employee, distance learning, or international classes held within Indonesia, nor does it support programs conducted across multiple countries.
Recipients are expected to return to Indonesia and contribute to the country after completing their studies. The scholarship covers a comprehensive range of academic and living costs to ensure students can focus entirely on their research and coursework.
